- 2008-2009: The top 50 originators.
- 2005-2007: The top 40 originators, quarterly data included.
- 1994-2004: The top 30 originators.
- 1991-1993: The top 25 originators.
Please note that 1991 and 1992 data do not include previous year's volume, change or rank.
Top Broker and Correspondent Producers
Ranking of both the top Broker and Correspondent Producers for a given year. Includes dollar volume and market share for each ranked lender as well as their total wholesale originations and the percentage of those originations that is wholesale. Data available from 1994-2Q09.
- 2008 and 2Q09 data include quarterly volume and change from the previous year, and omit percentage of wholesale originations.
- 2006 and 2007 data include percentage of total numbers for each category.
- 2004-2006 data rank the top 20 producers in each category.
- 1994-2003 data rank the top 15 broker and correspondent producers
- 1994-1997 data do not include the market share for each ranked lender.
- 1994-2000 data also include the total originations in dollars for each ranked lender.
Top ARM and Jumbo Producers
Ranking of both the top ARM and Jumbo Producers by year. Includes dollar volume and market share for each ranked lender as well as their total originations and the percentage of those originations that is ARM or jumbo. Data available from 1998-2Q09.

- 2006 and 2007 data also include percentage of total for each category

Ranking of the top originators in the nonprime/other category. Includes total and quarterly dollar volumes, market share and percentage change from the previous year.

Ranking of both the top Retail and Wholesale Producers for a given year. Includes dollar volume and market share for each ranked lender as well as their total originations and the percentage of those originations that is retail and wholesale. Data available from 1993-2Q09.
- 2Q09: the top 20 producers in each category, includes quarterly volumes, omitting total originations.
- 2008: the top 20 producers in each category, includes quarterly volumes, omitting total originations and percentages for retail and wholesale.
- 2004-2007: the top 20 producers in each category.

Ranking of both the top Purchase-Money and Refinance Lenders by year. Includes dollar volume and market share for each ranked lender as well as their total originations and the percentage of those originations that is purchase or refinance. Data available from 2001-2Q09.
- 2008 and 2Q09: the top 20 lenders in each category, also includes quarterly numbers and omits total originations
- 2004-2007: the top 20 lenders in each category
- 2002 and 2003: the top 15 purchase-money and refinance lenders
- 2001: only the top 30 refinance originators
Top Alt A Lenders
Ranking of the top Alt A mortgage lenders by volume in dollars and market share. Also includes total originations for ranked lenders and the percentage of those originations that is Alt A. For Q1-Q2 2008 the top 15 lenders are available, and the data omit total originations. For 2006 and 2007, the top 25 lenders are available, for 2005, the top 20 lenders are available, for 2004, the top 15 are available.
Top Home Equity Lenders
Table of the top bank and thrift home equity lenders by home equity loan volume. Data include total, HELOC and CES volume as well as HEL origination numbers for a the year. Totals for all banks and thrifts are also included.
2007 and 2008 data rank the top 25 lenders and for each lender includes the total HEL for 3rd quarter of the given year and 4th quarter of the year prior, as well as percent change from 4th quarter of the prior year to 4th quarter of the given year. Total numbers for all investors are also included.
2005 and 2006 data rank the top 11 lenders.
