Advances Up 50 Percent by Top Bank, Thrift Users
The top 40 bank and thrift users of Federal Home Loan Bank advances increased their use of such loans by 49.6 percent in the first quarter from a year ago, up to $577.77 billion – but just 4.4 percent from the fourth quarter, according to the latest ranking and analysis by Inside The GSEs.
